Screening for Plagiarism Policy
Jurnal Ilmu Terapan: International Multidisciplinary Journal (JITIMJ) is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and publication ethics. All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism before entering the peer-review process using reliable plagiarism detection software.
The journal applies a maximum similarity index of 25%, with no more than 5% similarity from any single source. Similarity reports are carefully evaluated by the Editorial Board to distinguish acceptable textual overlap, such as properly cited quotations, references, and standard methodological descriptions, from potential plagiarism.
Manuscripts containing plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, data falsification, citation manipulation, or other forms of academic misconduct may be rejected immediately or returned to the authors for revision, depending on the nature and severity of the ethical concern.
If plagiarism or other ethical violations are identified after publication, the journal reserves the right to issue corrections, retract the published article, or take other appropriate editorial actions in accordance with internationally recognized publication ethics standards.
